Whom do We Trust
Reading today from Psalms 20. Verses 7-9 stand out for me in this day and time we are in right now. The reading says, " some trust in horses and some in chariots..." I could add that some seem to trust in human leaders at this time. We need to remember who we are and what Jesus said when his disciples were looking for him to overthrow the government. He told them that His kingdom is not of this world. He never taught that we are to resist or overthrow the government. But we need to remember that we are to "trust in the name of the Lord our God" (Psalms 20:7).
