Believe God
Reading Romans 4 today In verse 3 we read "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness." Do we really believe God? When sickness strikes us or our loved ones and life is difficult and discouraging, do we believe God's promises to be with us? When our children stray and seem far away from us and from God, do we believe God loves them more than we do and promises to care for them? When disaster strikes and innocent people suffer, do we believe God is in control? When we pray and it seems God does not hear, do we believe God is alive and answers prayers? It is sometimes easy to SAY we believe in God, but do we really believe what he says to us and believe that He keeps His promises? It was the promise God made to Abraham that Abraham believed and it was "credited to him as righteousness".
